5 Spots to Toast to Dad with Clase Azul this Father's Day

By

Just like Dad, Clase Azul gets better with age.

The brand—especially known for its luxury tequilas and mezcals—was inspired by Mexico’s rich heritage more than 25 years ago, created by visionaries who dreamed of sharing its magic through exquisite craft, unique experiences, and more.

Clase Azul is right here in the SF Bay Area, too. Celebrate Dad over tequila or mezcal cocktails at these five local spots.

Boulevard Restaurant

Located in the historic Audiffred Building on the Embarcadero waterfront, Boulevard has earned high praise and a dedicated following since its opening by chef-owner Nancy Oakes in 1993. The restaurant’s menu is quintessentially Californian, seamlessly incorporating regional, seasonal bounty with studied classic and modern technique.

From the family behind Original Joe’s, Elena’s couples California-inspired elements with classic Mexican-American dishes. A homage to the heritage of co-owner Elena Duggan’s daughters, the concept is a true labor of love inspired by annual visits to San Bartolo Morelos, Mexico.

The history of Miller & Lux is deeply rooted in the story of two passionate immigrants in the early American West. After opening their butcher shop in the 1850s, Henry Miller and Charles Lux grew their business into one of the country’s largest cattle ranches, earning themselves the title “The Cattle Kings of California.” Their legacy is well represented by the restaurant today—a relaxed and luxurious space that celebrates the good life.
